Drama in education, theater in education

    The project's goal is to develop workshops based on theatrical exercises for the formation of the personality of children with special needs and for their integration into society.The project is conducted in partnership with the County School Ispectorates from Mureş, Alba and Sibiu counties, the University of Arts from Târgu Mureş, with the participation of the BABU Association from Târgu Mureş and the Mureş Down Association.

   The project includes a 6 month puppetry program for children with Down syndrome, organized by the BABU Association, the Mureş Down Association and the Ariel Theatre, resulting in an original shadow play created and played by the children themselves.The Ariel Theatre and The BABU Association, also organizes puppetry workshops for pedagogues that can improve communication with children and foster their creativity and emotional intelligence. The projects are led by Réka Deák, helped by puppeteers Szilárd Szőllősi-Pénzes and Dezső Bonczidai.
